World Trigger Episode 48

*Warning Spoilers Below*

The episode's title is "And Towards the Future" which I am assuming is next week since that's supposedly when the new season starts... Like what? Where and wtf are they doing with Hyuse? Since it's Tomakoma branch there's no way he's just a simple prisoner of war. I really like Torimaru's character. Wow everyone ends up being blatant about how weak Mikumo is. We get some tsundere from Kitora. I don't think I have ever seen any person do that thing Chika just did where a character puts their fists up like the fsjal meme:

I guess it's one of those things that you wonder who comes up with this shit like who came up with the middle finger?

Alright, wtf was this episode. This counts as filler right? It was just Mikumo sparring with a bunch of the main/semi main characters wishing he could fight like Jin; in the end he's reminded by Yuma to just be himself and accepts the fact that he's just a strategist with weak combat capabilities. If there was one episode you want to skip this is probably it.

Also there's no OP which I guess is good? Sometimes the OP would be in the middle of the episode which I don't understand, but Naruto has done that before too.

Let's also talk about the upcoming relative series: Isekai Kara no Toubousha (Fugitive from another World). The ending to this episode gave us a preview of this new show. It looks like it's just a different arc or sidestory much like what Bleach did. Most likely, this means it has nothing to do with the story set by the manga? Sometimes that stuff is enjoyable but look at what happened to Bleach and where is Naruto even at in the anime? A little too much doodoo going on there.

So we see this new antagonist with some Trion thing that must be their version of what Replica is. It does mention he's not alone so maybe it's another invasion from different neighbors. From this preview we can gather the above and also that these strangers have the ability to summon neighbors; Tomakoma 2 squad are in training camp now as well. That's kind of cliche and I feel like could've condensed this whole pitch into a movie. I guess we'll see what happens very soon.

Thanks for reading!
