K Project Episode 10

*Warning Spoilers Below*

From the last episode, we learned that all of the Kings' powers are sourced from the mysterious slate that was being experimented on in the WWII flashback by Weissman. A huge sword from the slate is hovering above the school and the Homra crew has just broken in. Kusanagi uses a megaphone to calm the students and attain their cooperation. They're just straight up thuggin' lol.
It wasn't long before Scepter 4 made their move. Munakata alludes that there may be a full scale war between the Red and Blue clansmen. Kusanagi calls for Yata and we flash back to Yata and Saruhiko's past before he joined Scepter 4. Kusanagi seems to have separate and secret plans behind all of Mikoto Suoh's orders. Kusanagi meets him and has a conversation about his and Totsuka's first impressions of Suoh. This is the kind of talk you always see right before a large scale war happens. At the end of their talk Kusanagi takes Anna with him and Suoh walks straight into Munakata. The two kings share a cigarette and Munakata attempts to bargain with Suoh before anything drastic happens. He implies that what Suoh is planning on doing will reek havoc upon the school including everyone in the perimeter: students, clansmen, bystanders, and it will all be due to his Weissman level. Thus he offers to kill the Colorless King in his place to which Suoh refuses.
COUGH COUGH YAOI COUGH COUGH
At the end of their conversation Munakata states that he was only there to speak to him as a friend before everything goes down. We've finally gone back to Kuroh, Neko, Yashiro trio. They have absolutely no clue to what the current situation is after the framing phone call to Suoh as they discover their old destroyed dorm. They agree that they must rescue Kukuri and the other students which concludes this episode.

I think the setup in this episode is well executed and somewhat makes up for episode 9. It definitely has me looking forward to the huge fight that's about to occur between the two clans.

Thanks for reading!
