K Project Episode 6

*Warning Spoilers Below*

We start this episode off with a glimpse into Suoh's dream (or nightmare?) and he somehow has visions of Yashiro's murder within it. Kuroh, Yashiro, Neko are eating the same exact thing they ate at the dorm room, in a campus restaurant. Yashiro is still feeling encumbered after finding his bloody shirt. Our attention is brought to a board where there are tons of pictures of student regulars enjoying their meals. A picture of Yashiro isn't hanging on that board though.
I wonder if his attendance at the school is even valid. He's never had his PDA, won't get a replacement for it either, he says he's a foreign exchange student, and he is supposed to be the Colorless King if that has any symbolism. We cut to the Homra bar where a pretty lady by the name of Awashima Seri is visiting as a customer. She talks about how Suoh's captivity is raising his Weismann level which explains the vision at the beginning. An 8 year flashback happens where we see a younger Suoh and his bar owner comrade Izumo Kusanagi. At this time, Suoh wasn't a King. It showed that he isn't ruthless and has compassion. A kid who wanted to join his clan knew back then that Suoh would eventually become a King. After a weird interaction with Neko, Kuroh calls up Kukuri because he couldn't read Yashiro's scribbled note. Oddly enough, she acts like she doesn't know Yashiro at all, just like the end of episode 5.
The Colorless King still sullen, calls his home longing for someone to validate his existence to find out the number isn't in service. Jumping to another flashback of Suoh's (this time 3 years back), he's now a King. The kid in the previous flashback is now a member. We also see Anna, the unidentified little girl who seems to be a member of Homra, in the recollection this time. Back to Kuroh, he's conversing with Yashiro about the possibilities of what's happening. And another flashback of Homra... Jeez this is quite the number of jumps... But it is important since we've just learned that the kid who became a Homra member through the eight years is named Totsuka Tatara. That's the name of the person who was shot in the video evidence of Yashiro's crime. Yashiro directly goes to where he believes his house is only to find himself in a middle of a soccer stadium. He and Kuroh come to the conclusion that he is not the person Isana Yashiro.
Wow, it's revealed. I am starting to appreciate how good the story is. I mean there were hints of weird unexplained flashbacks. We now turn back to one week before the events of the anime which is when the shooting occurred. Totsuka was behind the camera, shot. Yata and Izumo run to the location and hold him in his final moments. Totsuka mumbles "Colorless King" and before passing, he says his motto "Hekki Hekki, (It'll be okay) Things will work out". His earring is sparkling as the scene ends (we can confirm it's the same one Suoh is wearing). Back at the stadium, Kuroh plays his master, Ichigen's recording once again and refuses to give up on who he knows Yashiro as. Seriously Kuroh and Yashiro must've won Yaoi of the year when this came out. Some serious stuff unfolded and we learn of the reasoning behind the Red Clan's involvement. We also now know that Yashiro is not who he or anyone else thinks he is/was. I am eager to begin episode 7.

Thanks for reading!
