K Project Episode 1

*Warning Potential Spoilers Below*

Starting off, we have a crew of gangsters looking for someone. They're pretty straightforward thuggin and have a little girl with them that helps out. The group straight up terrorizes this rich guy, then as they're about to leave, they engage in a fight against peaceholders (maybe police idk) whom all use swords. Oh yeah, they all have some sort of powers.

After the opening, the setting changes to a school. Everything seems pretty ordinary. One guy is quite a character and gets the attention of everyone. There's a white catgirl hopping around naked that no one seems to notice. They use PDAs in this show which I find interesting. After leaving school, that boy has caught the attention of the group of gangsters and an unknown character receives a call that refers to the kid as a foreign King. The gang chases the kid down to a dead end to be saved by a peaceholder named Yatagami Kuro (the mysterious stranger before). Once saved, Kuro reveals that he serves the seventh King the "Colorless" King. He took the kid away from the gangsters to avenge his fallen king believing that this foreign King kid is the killer with video evidence.

I am intrigued by this series, but there's a lot of info that has been kept like those peaceholders or policemen. What are they? I don't know what I should call them or the gangsters. I'll probably call them the police in the next episode unless they give a name. There are a ton of characters and factions which sort of reminds me of Durarara. Even though there appears to be special powers the characters have, in the video evidence, a King who I would think should have more power than its followers, just gets shot and dies. No special effects or powers involved at all. There's a lot of unanswered questions and for now, it has me wrapped in its mysteries wanting to find out more.

Thank you for reading!
