Recent Anime I've Seen

Or relatively recent? These are just a few of the anime I've finished lately that you NEED to see imo fam.

Plastic Memories
It will always hold a special place in my heart #nohomo. A beautiful all rounder that will bring suspense, laughter, and tears-pre tears. Without sugarcoating, you can call it "Love an android with cancer" the anime.

Non Non Biyori
Imagine this if you will. Four Japanese country girls ranging from first to eighth grade go to the same and only rural school in their area. Bam. That's your slice of life anime right there. It's truly a simpler setting. There were various times it made me look and think about what I did at those ages. Not to mention this show is just straight up a meme factory. Don't forget to also watch Non Non Biyori Repeat.

Himouto! Umaru-chan:
You have probably already watched this. I fully expect you to be reading this from the future where this is just something you skipped or didn't know existed back here in 2015. This show is close to Hannah Montana except the other life of our protagonist is a mememaster, video gamer, junk food eater, cartoon watching princess as opposed to a pop star sensation. There may be a chance you don't know what Hannah Montana is which isn't important for the sake of comparison; all you pretty much need to know is Umaru is living *the* dream.

Prison School:
Group of foolish boys invade what is a majorly a girl's academy... then they try to sneak a peak. Do you know what happens when you try to do that? You get sent to school prison under the supervision of some of the most brutal female students at the school. You can already guess this is a jail breakout anime. But it isn't just about the comradery of these young men. It's about the over the top situations they get placed in by girls while working in confinement. Here are some key phrases that can give you a sense of what over the top means: "R Kelly would be proud" "Dat nipple hair doe" "He traded his school career by shitting himself" "The principal is an ass man"

Believe it or not, they were not having sex in this scene.

Tokyo Ghoul √A:
That's right, root A. Make sure you have watched the first part of this series which is just titled "Tokyo Ghoul" as root A is the sequel to it. I am not sure if any anime can be classified as a masterpiece but this one was astounding and pretty close. It's a very touching and action packed series with a nice amount of blood to it. The story is tied up very well in this sequel. It makes you want more of it even though it's finished. I'm thinking that it's called root A as a namesake similar to "Route A" giving me hope that there's other "Routes" possible in regards to the direction this particular story took. Only time will tell, but there is confirmation that there will be a new OVA that delves further in the past, even before the events of season 1 called "Tokyo Ghoul: Jack".
