Munakata and Suoh's fight continues. Yata and Saruhiko still resist Kuroh. In the middle of their battle, Yata experiences pain in his Red Clan branding which takes us back to a time before he and Saruhiko joined Homra.

Munakata knew what was going to happen. Following the killing blow, Suoh's Damocles faded and began to fall; he was prepared to accept retribution. Before the Damocles landed, Munakata killed him so he wouldn't have to suffer.
His last words were whispered into Munakata's ear muted from the viewers. Anna screams for him and as the crests of the Red Clansmen fade and rise, a beautiful shower of red light soars into the clouds.
We've finally finished the last episode! Now I can finally watch this new season K: Return of Kings. But not before the K: Missing Kings movie of course, so stay tuned for that.
All in all, it was good enough. It does raise the question of whether or not Weissman survived since he is supposed to be immortal. There are seven Kings but only four were featured in this final episode: Red, Blue, Colorless, and Silver. The other three would be Gold, Green, and ???
The reveal of Kokujoji was interesting but again, the vast majority of character introductions were not executed too well. The tone of this anime plays quite an interesting role. The music and shading made it quite unique as I have never seen another series outline how important color is to this anime. Kings aside, the lighting in almost all scenes were purposely not the paper/blinding white version of light but a slightly less undertone. This really brought out the effects of whenever Weissman/Yashiro/Neko would produce a light power/aura. I'll just leave it at that for now since I still have to watch the Missing Kings movie before moving on to season 2. I hope you enjoyed the show as well whether it's less or more than I did.
Thanks for reading!
